Dr. Lou Sabih is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing in the Kansas City area since 1997. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency from The University of Iowa and has been a Hospitalist since the year 2000. Dr. Sabih founded GIMS in 2011, a private Hospitalist practice with a focus on the geriatric patient. Dr. Sabih is also the Medical Director to several nursing homes, rehab hospitals and hospice services.
Dr. Joseph Ekstrand graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2012, and went on to complete his Internal Medicine Residency with the University of Iowa in 2015. As a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician - specializing in Geriatric Medicine - Dr. Ekstrand's focus is caring for patients in acute, post-acute and long term care environments.

Jerilyn McDermed APRN, graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2014 earned her MSN. Jerilyn was an Honor student specializing in Adult Gerontological. She earned another MSN in 2013 from Western Governors University major in Nursing leadership and management. Jerilyn had a 18 years of experience employed healthcare sector starting from CNA to NP plus four years of experience as a skilled nursing facilities volunteer. Annette has an advanced ability to solve problems, manage concerns, communicate with members of the collaborative care team.
Sangeeta Joshi is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, board certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She holds a BSN from Avila University and an MSN from the University of Kansas. Sangeeta has 18 years of nursing and patient care experience, in Malaysia and in the US, in acute and long term care settings. She is proud to have provided bedside nursing care for a wide range of medical problems - across lifespans.
